ES_Mechanical Engineer

SHL’s Engineering Solution department is seeking a ES_Mechanical Engineer to support medical device development. Responsibilities: 1. You will develop innovative connected devices for applications in the pharmaceutical and health care industry within a multi-disciplinary engineering team 2. You will design, implement, test and assess technical solutions at the system level from the first concept up to the launch of the commercial product 3. You will strongly interact with other departments in the organization, suppliers and customers at a technical level 4. 5+ years of work experience in the design, development and launch of complex mechatronic devices and systems 5. Experience in device/system designs that incorporate injection molded components, kinematic principles and mechanisms, integration and control of various sensors and actuators, design for cost and manufacturability 6. Understanding and experience with principles in systems testing and design verification • CAD and FEA proficiency (preferably SolidWorks) 7. Previous exposure to highly regulated industries (medical, pharmaceutical) and knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO13485, GMP, FDA CFR21) is an asset \ 8. Excellent written and oral communication skills (English) 9. Diligent, reliable and target oriented working attitude. Qualifications for ES_Mechanical Engineer: 1. BA/MA degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline 2. 5+ years of work experience in the design, development and launch of complex mechatronic devices and systems 3.
