PMO Senior specialist
SHL is seeking dedicated and experienced PMO senior specialist with strong technical background, attention to detail and a background in product development and industrialization.
【About PM and PMO】
The Project Management Office (PMO) function aims to supports Project Management with reporting, documenting and PM tool / process improvement. One of PMO’s key functions is to establish communication and manage relationship with key company stakeholders.
The position within the PMO is expected to be limited to max. 1 year. This role is intended as a stepping stone into the PM department and will provide the opportunity to transition into a Project Management position after completion of the PMO assignment.
※ Co-ordinate Project Intake Process: aligning between different offices and departments to guarantee optimal response to customer’s requests for proposals
a. Guarantee global alignment between business development and the technical organization, under customer’s requested timing and requirements.
b. Co-ordinate and run review meetings (managing various inputs into a proposal and guaranteeing all parties are accounted for)
c. Manage process updates and required trainings
※Support Internal Project Management Improvement programs from a PMO perspective, incl. future PM governance, portfolio and KPI analysis, change management ownership for PM;
a. Provide insights from current documentation and organizational structure.
b. Review of proposed IT systems against current IT set-up. Highlight possible gaps between both
c. Co-ordinate communication between Project Management team between relevant internal stakeholder.
※ Co-ordinate relationship with Project Controlling, while improving processes for cost management and clarifying costing related questions/cases with individual PMs.
※Improve and maintain reporting and process definition in the PM network
※Oversee and manage internal PM training curriculum, maintain information sharing platforms for PMs along with various IT interfaces
1.) Advanced degree in a relevant field
2.) Project management experience and proficiency in basic PM methodologies and tools
3.) Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills; excellent written and verbal English
4.) Advanced knowledge in SAP, O365/MS Excel, MS Project Server and SharePoint is desirable
5.) Strong interest in Project Analytics and Continuous Improvement
6.) Strong organizational skills, proficiency in stakeholder management, high sense of urgency, and attention to detail
